I used to be like 170 ish pounds at 5”4 and now I’m 115. At 170 pounds I was just as oblivious as them and I chalked my weight up to my “slow metabolism” but one day something just clicked and I wanted to change, so I started excersizing and eating less. Honestly I didn’t even really change what I was eating I would just skip breakfast and eat smaller portions. I walked and biked a lot and it only took me about 8 months to lose the weight. It’s honestly not as hard as people think it just takes consistency and dedication and not binge eating the weight back as soon as u hit ur target.

I think the secret is NOT TO DIET. It won’t work in the long run. Eat everything you want but less often and in smaller portions. Eat lots of protein and green vegetables. Enjoy carbohydrates but REDUCE them. Set yourself a time to lose your weight and keep it off. Two years is a good goal. Calm, steady and SLOW. Don’t throw yourself round a GYM. You will discover things about yourself and will be amazed. Losing weight quickly is a disaster and too much too soon is a shock to the body. YOUR BODY WILL FIGHT BACK AND WIN. Be gentle and realistic - and be your own best friend. Your body and mind will thank you.

This episode does not make scientific sense. Per the show, Colin is eating 2600 calories a day and is very underweight, no matter where he is getting them, the math does not add up. And I do not believe they overestimate the calories, I have seen some episodes where the superskinny was having less than 1000 calories per day. Something is wrong here....maybe Colin was not honest in his food diary.

Sam is an absolutely adorable twink! I am not nearly as tall as he is but my BMI used to be about 17. I’ve clubbed up to a BMI at 22. I really wish I could drop back down to 19.
